關系子句　　　

某些語言中由關系代詞或關系副詞所引導的子句，通常充當定語成分。如英語He is a man whom everybody respects （他是一個大家都尊敬的人）句中的whom everybody respects, 又如This is the place where he was born （這是他出生的地方）句中的where he was born等。有的語法學家認為漢語中也有關系子句。
